Irene Uwoya hails from Dodoma, Tanzania and was born on December 18, 1988. She is an actress and a film director. Her primary education was at Mlimwa while her secondary education was at Dar-es-Salaam. She studied at University of Dar es Salaam and also contested in the Miss Tanzania beauty pageant. Irene have featured in the following movies: One Blood, Tanzanite, Midnight, Hazard and many others.
