Altim real name or birth name is Aluku Timothy, he was signed to mavin record and was introduced to the fans By the mavin boss Don jazzy as Altims Beat. He is also known as Altims Dj.

decided to move behind the microphone after testing himself to improve

Altims- The 1st of 3 kids, was introduced to music at an early age by his Grandma who put him in the choir at age six, which exposed him to music that formed the bedrock of what he is today.
Playing instruments came naturally and at age 15 he was playing the keyboard, bass guitar and the drums in his local church while making mock instrumentals of popular hip-hop & RnB acts then on the keyboard .
Got into the University met MEMO who introduced him to the art of music production, started professional music production in 2008 as a student while Dj’ing for small shows on the side, had His first studio experience at TOPS studios where i met with BIGFOOT of Micworx who has been like a big brother ever since and has since worked in different studios making good music all the way..
A graduate of computer engineering University of Benin, Altims who’s unique style of production and approach to every single piece of music he comes across has enabled him work with a lot of Artistes including Southern Park,Wayd, Michael Demi, Xvol, Mi Fliss, Fombo, Squeeze..To mention but a few, having Provided Sound Effects for Xavier Ighorodje’s- The Fable (stage drama), he
has Produced numerous jingles/soundtracks for various organisations and churches, the
most recent being the OST/Theme-song for Christian Fellowship international’s Jam Summit 2012(kingdomInvasion).
His exceptional attention to detail and “sound synthesis” has made him a force to be reckoned with no doubt he is one of the best in his league.
