Veecko Kyngz real / Birth name is Obi Victor is another eastern singer who introduced him self with a controversial song he called “MY CAP“. The up coming singer hail from Ezinifite in Nnewi,
Anambra State, Nigeria. He was born 14th April and the first son of a family of five. Veecko has a degree on Building Technology which he obtained from ESUT.
In 2005,he founded his music company Gbabe Inc which was made up of artistes like Wankope, Don p, and the group Jonesfam.Gbabe Inc was more of a production based outfit as he was then
highly regarded as one of the fastest rising producers from the east.
Just like every other musicians, veecko started his music in choir where he was playing drums
from
there he progressed to music production working in the same studio with
the likes of CJ Remmy, Phyno, Ladonsyl etc. 2006 was a big year for me
because that was when i gained recognition in the eastern part of
Nigeria. I later produced songs for the likes of Sound Sultan, W4,
Ruggedman.
The sound The brought Veecko kynz to the lime light was actually released on the year 2009 and it gained national recognition in 2011, since the Veecko kyngz has become a house hold name basically for the south eastern part of Nigeria. the song was followed by other good musics like “IKEBE SUPER” featuring Ruggedman, “KWARANGIDA” featuring Sym19 then
“Thinking about You” featuring Selebobo and Farouk but before he took
the break, he released a 15 track EP which was later sold as an album on
the streets by the marketer.
Then the break for him came and the media
went razz with all sorts of stories, some saying he got broke, other
saying his label dumped him. All this stories didn’t quite distract him
as he was serious about finishing school.
In the year 2014, he came back to the industry with a monster track
titled COMMUNICATE featuring Duncan Mighty.He never knew the song was
gonna become a hit because singles where not doing well in the market
unless you backed it up with visuals.
Early 2015, he got signed to Triple Ice music which was a major step
for him, later on his manager Luther hooked him up with one of his
mentors in the industry SOUND SULTAN and they both did a video for the
remix of his previous hit song MY CAP(Ikpu ya). At that point, his fans
surprised him as they all supported the movement throughout the country
with different TV stations all across Africa playing the video. Then he
later followed it up with the release of the video COMMUNICATE featuring
Duncan Mighty.
