Adesuwa Onyenokwe is one of the most popular TV presenter, publisher, an organizer and an event compeer who was born on August 8, 1963 in Ibadan, Oyo state, to a large family of eleven, as the fifth child. She worked with Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) for about 15 good years and is notably known for her half-hour independent production on TV titled “Today’s Woman with Adesuwa” in the year 2000 which lasted for about 10 years.

Adesuwa started her presenting career while doing her Youth Service in NTA Sokoto in 1983 and her first assignment was to present the kiddies programme on television. After her education, she have worked with Edo Broadcasting Service, EBS, then Bendel Broadcasting Service which she started in 1985 and NTA Lagos. Adesuwa got married to her husband Ikechukwu Onyenokwe from Delta state.
