Born September 22, 1980 in Cantonments, Majid Michel is an award wining Ghanaian actor. His father is a Lebanese while his mother is Ghanaian. Majid attended St. Theresa’s Primary School, and later, the Mfantsipim School along side Van Vicker. His acting career began from his school days as he was actively part of the dramatic club.

He started professional acting by auditioning for a modelling agency; a neighbour had introduced him to that agency. He was invited to join the modeling agency, Super Model Agency, on the behest of his next-door neighbour. He starred in the television series Things We Do for Love, acquiring his nickname “Shaker” on the set. Majid have made name for himself both in Ghana and Nigerian Nollywood. He is married to Virna Michel.
