Victoria Kimani was born 28 July 1984,she hail from Kenya and was born and raised up in America. Victoria Kimani is a singer, songwriter,
actress and entertainer signed to Chocolate City Music among other artistes like MI,Ice Prince, Jasse jagz etc.She is nominated for Best Female East Africa category on AFRIMMA AWARD 2016

Kimani was born in Los Angeles, California to clergy parents and she is the youngest of her two older brothers. She grew up partly in Benin City, Nigeria while her parents were there doing missionary work. She began
writing, recording and performing at age 16 and since then has gone to
be one of the notable women in the African music industry. Victoria
Kimani is a multi-cultural artiste who is well traveled. Her rich fan
base cuts finely across nations of the African continent.
She is currently working on her album which would be released later this year.

CAREER & SUCCESS

Victoria Kimani has worked with many people in the music
industry including some very prominent names like Jadakiss, Khuli Chana,
DJ Green Lantern, MI, Busta Rhymes, Mario Winans, Chris Bown, Diggy
Simmons, Timati (Russian Superstar), Timbaland and countless other
producers and artistes worldwide.

Since signing to Chocolate City Music, Victoria Kimani has put out
several songs including a mixed tape- Queen Victoria. Her most recent
works include Booty Bounce & All the way ft Khuli Chana which has a
great response from both radio & television.

On 13 May 2015, Kimani, other seven African female musicians, Cobhams
Asuquo and a team of ONE staff got together in Johannesburg to create
“Strong Girl”, a song that sent a message on the empowerment of women
across the world. The song featured singers; Waje (Nigeria), Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania), Arielle T (Gabon), Gabriela (Mozambique), Yemi Alade
(Nigeria), Selmor Mtukudzi (Zimbabwe), Judith Sephuma (South Africa),
new artist Blessing Nwafor (South Africa) and the video star is actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde (Nigeria).

Victoria Kimani inherited her philanthropic nature from her parents
who run a children’s home in Kenya. One of Victoria’s goals is to expand
it in order to be able to help a larger number of needy children.
Currently, Father’s House only takes in 15 children and when they are of
age, they are enrolled in various programmes and initiated into
self-dependency.

Victoria also endorsed a global campaign for abducted Nigerian
schoolgirls by throwing her weight behind the “Bring Back Our Girls”
movement with the release of a song titled ‘Emotions’.
