Masta Garzy
AKA GaryMix Real/Full name is Benjamin Nana Kwame Mensah was born Born 7th july,1991, is Ghana’s youngest Producer, Sound Engineer, Instrumentalist, DJ, Footballer is the CEO of 2MG Music. He hail from Tema, Ghana.
Background
Mix-Masta Garzy, born Benjamin Nana Kwame Mensah in the music hub of
Tema is a record producer, a DJ, a presenter and CEO of 2MG Music. He is
the best youngest afrobeats producer in Ghana and also known for
producing hit tracks by dr cryme, sarkodie, atumpan, ruff and smooth,
pope skinny, vip, stay jay etc.
Early life
Benjamin attended Better Bes Academy from primary o junior high, Tema
Methodist Senior High school and finally Ghana Institute of Journalism
(GIJ) where he attained certificate in Broadcast Journalism.
Garzy started
as an instrumentalist, playing most instrumentals in church. After
discovering his talent in music engineering, he started working with
some song engineers like Ephraim, B-Bryte (nominee for 2012 ghana music
awards, music engineer of the year), B4 and Methmix.
Music production
Whiles learning,
Benjamin played many creative beats which gave him the opportunity to
start producing underground artist in his teens.
career
He began his career in the 2006/7 showbiz calendar producing underground
artists and came to limelight two years later.
2009/10 has been the
brightest time and still counting for the young producer as he produced a
song for an underground artist called Boy Wadon featuring Castro in the
“you be my babe” track which had some good media promotion.

Masta Garzy subsequently went on to produce for top hiplife artists aforementioned.
Although making a hit now, Benjamin still subject himself to learning
and still works with some of top song engineers in the country like
Hammer of the Last Two, Kaywa, Killbeatz, Possigee, etc.
MixMasta Garzy with perseverance has produced artistes like Boy Wadon,
Castro, Skinny Legend, Ephraim, Dr. Cryme, Sarkodie, Atumpan, Ruff and
Smooth, Pope Skinny, VIP and Stay Jay.
Not only known for his good rhythms, he doubles as a DJ and co-host of
X-FM’s Morning and Weekend Edition with Eric and the Chief Executive
Officer if 2MG Music in the hub of Tema.
Awards and Nominations
Nominated in the 2012 Gh/UK Afro-beat Award for Youngest Producer in
Octoberafter producing ‘Boomboomtah’ for Mista Silva (UK), MixMasta
Garzy envisionsof being a nominee in the awaiting Ghana Music Awards and
in various music awards beyond.
