Thembi Seete Biography – Age

Thembi Seete was born on March 25 1977. She is a kwaito star, pop singer, television presenter and actress from Soweto, South Africa , but grew up in Sebokeng in the Vaal . She was part of the kwaito supergroup Boom Shaka, from 1994-2000 but unfortunately the band broke up. She featured in a 2000 film Hijack Stories, but first made her mark in the hard-hitting SABC1 drama series Yizo Yizo. Seete played the role of Lerato in the first two seasons of the SABC1 drama series Gaz’lam, from 2002-2004, and made a final guest appearance in the show’s third season premiere, entitled “Ghosts of the Past”, which aired on 18 February 2005.

Thembi played the role of Pumla in the South African made-for-TV movie Crossing the Line, written and directed by Brian Tilley in 2005. She was one of the seven choirmasters for the Mzansi Magic reality competition Clash of the Choirs South Africa, which aired in 2013.
