Fred directed his first movie in 1993/94. titled The Fire and The Glory. In 1997 he won Best Actor for Mortal Inheritance. He is married to Nigerian TV personality, Agatha Amata but they have separated. Fred once dated actress Ibinabo Fiberesima.
