Sasha Martinengo known by many as Sid the Sloth is a South African radio and club DJ, television sports presenter, MC and restaurateur with Italian origin. Born and bred in Johannesburg, he is one of the faces and voices of Formula One and Motor sport at super sports. Sasha had his secondary education at Hyde Park High and graduated from Technikon Witwatersrand.

Sasha was offered a position as a DJ on 5FM in 1994. He started off on the 1-4AM slot, climbing his way up to where he is today. He currently hosts The F&Martinengo Show, 12-2PM, with friend and fellow DJ, Ian Fraser. He is married with kids.
