Edward Kagutuzi is an actor that was born in 1990 in London. When he was 12, he began to show a passion for street dancing, singing and acting which led him to join two local dance groups; Paddington Arts Dance Group and Ruff Diamond.

Edward attended Cardinal Hinsley High School, London and Richmond upon Thames College where he studied Theatre Studies. He has featured in Twist, television series such as Law and Order UK and Dubplate Drama but it was the role of Tijan Jacobs in the independent Nollywood feature film The Mirror Boy that captured the heart of the nation which also featured Osita Iheme, Genevieve Nnaji and Fatima Jabbe. Following his performance in the movie, he won Best Young Actor at the 2011 African Movie Academy Awards in Nigeria and was later nominated for Best Actor in the Nigerian Entertainment Awards 2011 (USA).
