Born on October 28, 1987, Lungelo Dhladhla is a South African actress who had featured in the following TV series such as; A Place Called Home – Season 2, Dream World – Season 1 as Hlengiwe Khumalo, Single Galz – Season 1 as Nkosazana and many others. Lungelo is popularly known for her role as the title character in the SABC1 mini-series uGugu no Andile (Gugu and Andile) in 2008.
She have also won the Most Promising Actress award at the African Movie Academy Awards for her portrayal of Gugu, on 4 April, 2009.
