Wisa Greid is a
prolific song writer, producer and composer. He has been in the
background of music in the Ghana community for a while now until his hit
track Ekiiki Mi hit the airwaves. He was nominated NEW ARTISTE OF THE YEAR at the Ghana music award UK 2016.
Growing up, his key inspirations were music, dance and football. Music
however took the forefront of affairs at the demise of other interests.
He schooled in La Presec.
At the age of 27 he has honed his singing skills and has been able
to come up with spontaneous hits songs that are popular in the Ga and
La communities. With the aid of Chapter Beats and sheer vim and drive,
Wisa has done much in the underground circles.
His lyrics are a tight
combination of local dialect GA, English fused with little bit of Afro
Pop pigeon English.
With the help of a good management team and well structured career plan,
Wisa seeks to be the next big thing starting from this Christmas.
Even before fully emerging as a formidable artiste, Wisa has already
gripped the press with social media exchanges with Luther for performing
his songs in shows without his prior knowledge.
For now, all we see is a gem in the making and a potential next big
thing in the Ghana music scene. Wisa, BIG UP and big up to the LA City
Soldiers Movement.
EkiikiMi (feat Luther): this song
originally released in March 2015 features but gather momentum in the
late 2015 with massive airplay on all radio stations.
EkiiMi Remix (feat Sarkodie): With the
popularity of Ekiikimi, Sarkodie the most marketable artist in Ghana
requested to do a remix. The request was sent via social media. This
song has also been an instant hit.
