Ashley Madekwe was born on December 6, 1983 in East London, England, and her father is Nigerian while her mother is of Swiss descent. She is an English actress who started her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. At 14, she attended the Brit school and later she attended Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained a BA in acting.

Ashley got married in June 2012 to fellow actor Iddo Goldberg. Madekwe have featured in the following TV series; Salem, Revenge, The Beautiful Life: TBL, Trial and Retribution, Trexx and Flipside, Drop Dead Gorgeous and a host of others.
