Somizi Mhlongo hails from South Africa. He is a choreographer, singer, actor and television personality. Born in 1972 to veteran actress Mary Twala and the late actor Ndaba Mhlongo, he started his acting career at the age of 6 and is the fourth judge of SA Idols season 11.
Somizi have a grown up daughter with Palesa Madisakwane and her name is Bahumi Mhlongo.
