Maria Borges was born on October 28, 1992 in Angola. She is an Angolan fashion model. With a height of 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m), no doubt why she was named Forbes Africa Magazine’s top model of 2013. Her career kicked off in earnest in 2010 when she was placed second at the Angolan edition of the contest Elite Model Look.

Maria have wriiten her name in history as being the first black model to ever walk in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show whilst wearing her natural afro hair on 10 November 2015.She is signed with MG Models Worldwide and is based in New York City.
