Alain Traore (Kayserispor, Turkey)

Sibiri Alain Traoré was born on 1th January 1988 in Bobo Dioulasso. popularly known as Alain Traoré, He is a footballer from Burkina faso who plays as a striker for Kayserispor, and national team.


Club career 

Traoré started his football career with local side Planète Champion before he traveled to France as a 17-year-old.
Traoré began his career with Planète Champion in his Burkina Faso. He played for Burkina Faso in the 2005 African U-17 Championship. He missed his opportunity to be signed to English Premier League side Manchester United because of work permit issues. Although he had the option of going on loan to a Belgian club first but also had interest from French Ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre. he joined the French side instead following his mothers decision.

On 4 January 2009, he was loaned out to Stade Brest 29 for six months. He returned to AJ Auxerre on 31 June 2009.

 In July 2012, Traoré joined Ligue 1 side FC Lorient after Auxerre who relegated to Ligue 2.

On 31 January 2015, Traoré was loaned to AS Monaco FC till the end of the 2014–15 season, with an option for AS Monaco to make the deal permanent.

International career

Traoré first futured for Burkina Faso at under-17 level where they qualified for the 2005 African U-17 Championship. He scored one of the goals in the 3–1 defeat to Mali under 17. Traoré netted one goal in the 2012 African Cup of Nations, versus Angola. He scored the goal (in the sixth minute of injury time) which qualified Burkina Faso to the next round in 2013 African Cup of Nations at the expense of the Central African Republic and then scored three goals in the 2013 final tournament itself.
