Siyamthanda ‘Siya’ Kolisi was born on June 16, 1991 in Zwide township outside Port Elizabeth. He is a South African rugby union player who plays for his country national team from 2013 to present. Concerning is club side career, he played for Western Province from 2011 to 2012 before joining Stormers. On 20 February 2017, Siya was made the new captain of the Stormers.

Siya got married to rachel but there were lots of racist comments after the marriage. He has a height of 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in) and a weight 105 kg (231 lb; 16 st 7 lb).
