Tendai Mtawarira was born on August 1, 1985 in Harare, Zimbabwe. He is a Zimbabwean-born South African Rugby player who joined the Natal Sharks in Super Rugby in 2008. Known by friends and fans as “The Beast”, he attended Churchill School in Harare before moving to Peterhouse Boys’ School in Marondera both in Zimbabwe.In June 2010, he qualified to play for South African international team.
