Lil Ice real/full name is Elom Isaac Nnanna was born in Abuja, Nigeria on September 3rd, 1997, He hails from Ebonyi State in Eastern Nigeria. He is an Afro Pop Rapper and Singer.

EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

Lil Ice is the last born and only boy in a family of 3 children.
Having fostered his musical talent since from a young age, Lil Ice found solace within his school and church choir by playing the DRUMS and also taking a strong Tenor part. Fascinated with musical arrangement, Lil Ice’s interest also turned to dancing, in which he formally started at the age of 15 and he was then called “IceKid”.

Lil Ice’s musical inspiration, includes a diversity legendary music heavyweights of which to name a few include; Jay Z, Fela Kuti, 2pac Shakur and many others.
However, his biggest inspiration to date is his mother because she also had good voice, who raised him alongside his father, never at one point discouraging him from his musical pursuit though his father disagreed at a point.

He attended his nursery and primary education at WORD OF FAITH GROUP OF SCHOOLS, ABUJA and he had his secondary education at GOVERNMENT SCIENCE SECONDARY SCHOOL, MAITAMA in ABUJA. And after that he proceeded to the EBONYI STATE UNIVERSITY for his tertiary education where he is currently studying Medical Laboratory Science and is in his year two, Lil Ice while in school had a number of studio sections under some producers there. Lil Ice later moved a step ahead by dropping a hit single “Boo 4 Life”  which was produce by “IceBeatx” and it got everyone talking about it especially the ladies in school and it also earned him the “song of the year award” at Ebsu Sug Awards(EBSA) in his year one. He became known in other schools around like; Funai, Esut, Fed Poly Afikpo, e.t.c.

All eyes are on Lil Ice, with press reviews already deeming him as a promising rising act. Launching an exclusive track in celebration of his birthday, Lil Ice presents fans with an African enthused, dance-hall track, “Boo 4 Life” .
He was interviewed on his Birthday by EBSU radio 97.5fm and he said “I thank GOD for adding a year to my life and to it I would want to lift awards and plagues like D’banj, Tuface, Wizkid, Davido, and make Nigeria proud so I prepare myself to give out good music to my fans and everybody that looks up to me. Thanks to those who are supporting me and my music I Love You All” that was his words on his birthday. Bwoy Ice as he is fondly called by the Dudes and “Iceeeeee” as the ladies call him.

In his own words, Lil Ice says, “all I want to do is focus on making good music that strongly represents my African heritage in a contemporary way.” Audiences should expect some cool jams from him this year as he looks forward for a better tomorrow.
