In a season where there’s a deeper yearning for true worship, Evelyn Amo stands out as one who writes songs that brings hope, restoration and healing to anyone that listens. Evelyn Amo is not only a gifted songwriter (writing the hit song “Step By Step”) but she is also an anointed worshiper, who is graced with leading congregations into God’s presence every time.

The Ghanaian born Evelyn moved to Holland at the age of 8. Her music is reminiscent of the different cultures she grew up in. When you hear Evelyn sign, you will definitely hear the South African flavour and her Ghanaian Methodist roots.
Musical Break
Evelyn took a maternity break to raise her kids. This break came after her song “Step by Step” became a hit in the Caribbean. She adds that being a mother brings so much fulfillment and joy. In between that she found time to be the lead singer of the Ghana Community Choir, Amsterdam. Now her four beautiful kids are out of diapers, so she’s back!
New Music
In 2016, Evelyn launched her CD “Great Deliverer”. This CD is full with songs of deliverance, that can help you navigate through the storms of life. The album is a testimony of God’s delivering power in her life. Currently she is performing, promoting this new album, and will soon be on tour.
In June 2016, Evelyn Amo recorded her first live concert which received great reviews. The videos received over 200,000 views in the first week on Facebook. You can read the concert editorial by clicking here.
In December 2016, Evelyn Amo also released a single titled “You Are Holy.” Evelyn Amo is very grateful for how far she has come and believes God has greater things in store.
For the first time in 15 years Evelyn Amo had her maiden concert in Ghana, Africa with almost all the top Gospel artists coming to support, called, Eden Experience on February 18 2017. She was so well received that her team is planning to make it an annual concert.
She is currently travelling throughout Europe ministering and planning her June 10 Live Recording Concert dubbed “Songs Of Deliverance” taken from Psalm 32:7.
