Nqubeko Mbatha is a South African gospel musician who was born in Esikhawini, Kwa-Zulu Natal. For his educational background, the talented singer graduated with a National Diploma in light music majoring in Piano at Natal Technikon (now known as the Durban University of Technology). He started singing in church as a young child and came to the limelight after he won a songwriter’s competition with the song SIFANELENE which was later recorded by the legendary Sibongile Khumalo, this he achieved during his final year in school.
In 2011, Nqubeko came out with his debut album titled FOREVER I’LL WORSHIP co-produced with Ntokozo Mbambo his wife who’s also an award-winning gospel artiste, they got married in 2008. His age will be added as soon as Mybiohub team verifies it. He later released the second album in June 2013.
