Born on April 13, 1987 in Mparo Village, Kabale District, in the Western Region of Uganda, Anne Kubiryaba Kansiime is a comedian and an actress and due to her amazing talent, she’s often referred to as “Africa’s Queen of Comedy” by some African media outlets.

Her career began while she was a student in the university by participating in drama skits acted by the theatre group Theatre Factory, who played at the Uganda National Theatre in Kampala’s central business district. Anne came to limelight when Citizen TV from neighboring Kenya offered her a slot to produce, star and present a comedy show once a week. That was the beginning of Don’t Mess With Kansiime comedy show which made her to be known across many countries. Kansiime has her own YouTube comedy channel, which already had 200,000 subscribers some couple of years ago. She got married to her husband Gerald Ojok in 2013.
