Lorcia Cooper Biography – Age

Lorcia Cooper is an actress, dancer and choreographer who hails from South Africa. She was born in Cape Town where she was also raised up. At an early age, she was already a great dancer and was enrolled at Ballroom and Latin American dance competitions with her brother. When she turned 5, Lorcia won the titles of provincial champion in both dance disciplines and this led her to join the Academy of Dance under the guidance of Debby Turner when she was only 8.

With such great talent, she was both a student and a teacher at the North West Arts Council’s Dance Academy where she danced in various productions and at the age of 19, she won the FNB Vita Best Female Dancer Award.
