Rema Namakula was born on April 24, 1991 to the late Nabbossa Hamida(R.I.P) and the late Mukiibi Ssemakula (R.I.P) in Ntinda Uganda and is the last child in her family. She is an award wining recording artist.

Rema has performed alongside well known artists in her country. She used to be a back up artist for a Ugandan musician Bebe Cool in Gagamel crew, but he fired her in 2013 after seeing her on television talking about an album launch which he did not know. But her separation from him turned out to be a blessing for her as that was the beginning og her fame when she went solo. People do think Ugandan female musician Halima Namakula is her mother, but Mybiohub has found out that she’s her mentor. Some of her songs are; Oli wange, Katonotono, Lean On Me, Lowoza Kunze, Deep In Love, Muchuuzi and Atuuse. Rema is engaged to fellow singer Eddy Kenzo and is a mother of one.
