Bathabile Dlamini, the South African politician with ANC (African National Congress) party was born on 10 September 1962 in Nquthu, KwaZulu-Natal. She’s the South African Minister of Social Development and leader of the African National Congress Women’s League (ANCWL). There are some things to note about her; Many know her for the Travelgate scandal (for which she was convicted), her mishandling of the social grants system, and her habitual absenteeism.

Bathabile holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Studies from the University of Zululand. In May 2017, Dlamini appeared before a parliamentary SCOPA meeting where, amongst other issues, she was questioned about R1 million spent on private VIP security for her children, paid for by SASSA.
