Reinhard Willi Gottfried Bonnke was born on 19 April 1940 in Königsberg, East Prussia, Germany to a pastor and ex-serviceman in the German Army. He’s not really from African continent but we decided to add him to our database because of his heavy influence in terms gospel missions throughout Africa. Let’s get to know him closer; he’s a Pentecostal evangelist that has been an evangelist and missionary in Africa since 1967, and also Founder, Christ for All Nations.

You may not know about this, he has overseen 75 million recorded conversions to Christianity. But this preacher wasn’t a born again from birth, only became a born again when he turned 9 after his mother spoke with him about a sin that he had committed. Reinhard studied at The Bible College of Wales in Swansea, where he was inspired by the director Samuel Rees Howells. Bonke got married in 1964 to Anni Suelze at a gospel music festival and they have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
