Kenyan-born Poizon Ivy has her real name as Awino Ivy. Born Dallas, TX by way of Nairobi, Kenya by nationality. She was a ballgirl for the Mavericks also is the first female DJ to work with the Dallas Mavericks. Awino was Nine of age when she discovered her singing talent and since then she have been doing excellently well along side her male counterparts, though male dominates the music entertainment market, Ivy emerges a zealous, multi-culturally influenced curator of music, fashion, sports, entertainment.
She has won for herself awards among which are; AFRIMMA NOMINEE 2017, Best African Dj USA.
