South African journalist, news anchor, and reporter Ayanda-Allie Paine, best known for anchoring eNews, was born on 30 July 1986 and bred in Dobsonville, Soweto.
Ayanda-Allie graduated in 2009. While pursuing a BA Degree in Communication Science (UNISA), she worked as a news anchor on Rainbow FM (2006), at an online content provider, and as an advertising coordinator at Now Media (2007).

From 2008 to 2010, she worked as a news anchor and traffic reporter for Talk Radio 702 and a news anchor for eNCA from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, she left eNCA to join Morning Live on SABC News
In 2014, she co-hosted (with Thabo Mdluli) the seventh annual Crown Gospel Music Awards.
In 2015, she hosted the SABC2 talk show Visionaries’ Lounge, which profiles self-made South Africans who have made noteworthy achievements, intending to unpack the process of building a successful life.

In 201,7 she began hosting the eNCA morning show Weekend Wake Up, which explores the week’s important news talking points along with sport, entertainment, lifestyle, and family issues.
In 2006, Ayanda got married to Matthew, whom she ran into in a studio that did jingles for commercials. They have three children: The first is Ayanda’s nephew, who’s eight; her first-born is three, and her baby’s a year old. She’s waiting for the day when all of them treat her like a queen.
