Born on 7 November, 1986 and hails from Cross River Cross River State (South-Eastern region of Nigeria). He is a talented Nigerian artiste. Having his real name as David Iye Odey and stage name to be Boogey. He is one of Nigeria’s fast rising Hip-Hop artistes. .
He attended Federal Government College Lagos, Ijanikin during his secondary education then proceeded to Morocco for Tertiary studies on scholarship and bagged a degree in Biology. He had to learn French language to attend classes.
Boogey returned to the country in late 2010 and decided to pursue a rap career instead of getting a job. With the support of his parents, he began recording a couple of demos. In 2011, he won the sixth edition of ‘The Underground’ talent show and things started looking bright for him.
