Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe. born on 8 March, 1973, better known as Boris Kodjoe, is an Austrian-born actor of German and Ghanaian. Kodjoe was born in Vienna, Austria, the son of Ursula, Eric Kodjoe descendant of a Ghanaian physician who is of the Krobo people. He has Russian and Jewish trait-trace in the historical background of his origin looking into his second and third generations. Boris speaks fluently in English, French, German and average in Spanish, has a brother and two sisters. 

His education profile; Kodjoe attended Virginia Commonwealth University on a tennis scholarship, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 1996. He is currently ninth in school history with 75 career singles wins. Tied for third in doubles victories with 66, he was paired with Jonas Elmblad on 37 of them, also third all-time.

Kodjoe married his co-star Nicole Ari Parker and are blessed with two kids, Sophie Tei-Naaki Lee and Kodjoe Nicolas Neruda Kodjoeon.

He currently co-stars on BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood and on the CBS medical Drama Code Black.
