The young multi talent damsel, Sasha Pieterse  is a South African-born American actress and singer-songwriter who was born on February 17, 1996 in Johannesburg. She is known popularly for her role as Alison DiLaurentis in the Free form series Pretty Little Liars

Sasha’s family moved to the United States in 2001 and was raised in Las Vegas, before moving to Los Angeles. She became accustomed to a career in entertainment at an early age, as her parents were a professional acrobatic dance team who performed internationally. She was home schooled and graduated at the age of 14.

She began her modeling career at a very young age when she featured on a national billboard for Super cuts, and modeled in the Macy’s Passport Fashion Show, performing throughout California.
Sasha was featured on the cover of BELLO magazine “Young Hollywood” in the December 2014 issue. She also appeared on the cover of the 2015 issue of Teen Prom magazine.

As an actress, she commenced acting at a tender age of six when she got her start in television, co-starring in 2002 as Buffy on The WB’s revival of the CBS sitcom Family Affair (1966–1971)
Also, in the 2007 film Good Luck Chuck she also appeared playing a young goth girl who places a curse on the titular character. She played the younger version of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s character in the 2007 film “The Air I Breathe”, along with such co-stars as Kevin Bacon, Forest Whitaker, and Emile Hirsch. She was the teenage girl in the film X-Men: First Class.
More recently, Sasha has appeared in the film G.B.F. and in an episode of Hawaii Five-0 as a terrorist pupil named Dawn Hatfield

Sasha was signed to record label Dan Franklin Music making her first debut single “This Country is Bad Ass” which was released on April 12, 2013. The music was released in appreciation to the opportunity given to her in America to explore and utilize her God given talents. She equally released her second single, “R.P.M”, on June 13, of the same year.
Her third single, “I Can’t Fix You”, was released on July 12, 2013 barely a month after the second single. On December 10, 2013, she released her fourth single “No”, an upbeat track about “standing strong in your convictions” and saying no when an unfaithful, lying ex-boyfriend asks for a second chance.

On December 22, 2015, Sasha became engaged to her long term boyfriend, Hudson Sheaffer. She has also featured in the famous TV series Heroes as Amanda Strazulla, Claire, House, among others.

In 2003, she won the Young Artist Awards as the Best Performance in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama). Also, in 2014 she was given a Teen Choice Awards as the Choice TV Female Breakout Star
and the following year, 2015, she won the Independent Spirit Awards (shared with director, casting director and cast). Then in 2016, she won the Teen Choice Awards.
