Her father is a Belgian and mother a Congolese and she is a Congolese rock star by name; Syssi Mananga. Syssi  grew up in two continents. Her music transmit and reflects her Multi-cultural mix and skilfully combines the legacy of her African roots with the influences of soul, zouk, jazz or even reggae. She has rocked the United States, Washington, DC and the likes with her Jazz and Raggae music. She is known for her emotional connection and interpretation of musical action which aid her to hold her audience.
