Mimi Faust is a reality television star, dancer, businesswoman and an author who stars on the VH1 program Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. She was born on January 3, 1970 in Virginia, USA to Oluremi James and was raised by her mother Olaiya Odufunke who died on 27th October, 2003. Mimi did not meet her biological father until she was sixteen years old as her birth was the result of an affair. Her father later died in 2014.

In 2003, Mimi appeared in the music video for singer Pharrell Williams’ single “Frontin'”, which featured the rapper Jay-Z. Actress Lauren London and model Lanisha Cole were also featured in the video. She later established the Keep It Clean Inc, a cleaning service in the Stone Mountain Area of Atlanta, Georgia.

In 2012, she joined the cast of the VH1 spin-off show of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. She was cast with the father of her daughter Stevie J, singer K. Michelle, rapper Rasheeda, musician/actress Karlie Redd, and rapper Joseline Hernandez. The program showcased her relationship with Stevie J, and the pair’s daughter Eva. It also depicted the love triangle between the couple and cast mate Joseline Hernandez. Mimi is managed by Sandy Lal who is also her Entertainment lawyer.

In 2014, a sex tape was released featuring Mimi and then-boyfriend Londell Smith (AKA Nikko London) through Vivid Entertainment entitled Scandal in Atlanta. It has become one of the most popular sex tapes released by the pornography company and was also nominated for an AVN award for best celebrity sex tape in 2015, losing out to Tila Tequila.
The category included Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham. Mimi and Smith had stated that their luggage containing the sex tape was stolen and the tape was sent to Vivid Entertainment through an anonymous source.  Mimi allegedly made more than $100,000 from the sales of the sex tape.

She has equally featured in movies like: Stevie J & Joseline: Go Hollywood in 2016 and Leave It To Stevie from 2017 till present.
