Heino Gunther Kuhn was born on 1 April, 1984. He is a South African cricketer who plays for the Titans in domestic cricket and for the national team. A wicketkeeper batsman, he was the second highest run scorer in the 2006-07 SuperSport Series with 776 runs at 48.50. This tally included an innings of 216 against the Dolphins at Pietermaritzburg. 

He made his international debut in a Twenty20 International (T20I) against England at his home ground of Supersport Park, Pretoria, on 15 November 2009 and In June 2017, he was named in South Africa’s Test squad for their series against England. He made his Test debut for South Africa against England on 6 July 2017.

In August 2017, Heino was named in Nelson Mandela Bay Stars’ squad for the first season of the T20 Global League. However, in October 2017, Cricket South Africa postponed the tournament until November 2018.
