Atong Arjok was born on 5 October, 1985 in California. She is a Sudannese-American fashion model who is of the Sudanese descendant. She is well known for her long and statuesque legs. Arjok measures 5’9’’ in height, has black hair, brown eyes and has measurements of 32 bust, 23 hips and 34 waist with a size 8.5 shoe and size 4 dress.
Atong has participated in several fashion shows over the years and had first major and notable debut in her modeling career came in 2009 when she landed a leading role as part of a new beauty campaign for Sephora. The publicity garnered by this campaign lead to further, more high profile runway engagements.
Arjok became very well regarded for her impact in the world of ad campaign work, and between 2006 and 2007 she was one on the most sought after models for such jobs, including appearing in the Bebnaz Sarafpour for Target campaign, the spring Kenneth Cole Reaction campaign, the Converse by John Varvatos campaign, the Greg Kadel for fall I.N.C campaign and being the face of the fall Tadashi campaign.
Interspersed with this extensive ad campaign work were a number of runway engagements for Arjok, walking in 2007 in New York for the 3.1 Phillip Lim and Catherine Malandrino spring shows and in 2008 closing the New York spring show for Yeohlee. The model has also been a regular presence in many of the industry’s high profile publications, the highlights from 2007 to 2010 including an editorial for Trace magazine, a feature for Allure show by Michael Thompson, and editorial in Marie Claire magazine shot by Fabio Chizzola and an editorial in British Elle magazine shot by David Slijper.
