Charming Eritrean singer, Semhar Yohannes was born in 1990. She is the daughter of Estifanos Yohannes who is also a musician.

Semhar has always loved art eventhough her father wanted her to study and earn a degree. She showed interest in music at a very young age. She began a career with an awareness raising programs and with the help of her father, she was able to compose and arrange a song.

From there, Semhar grew into a singer and has released up to five songs with others still in the process. In 2015, she got married at at the wedding ceremony performed for her husband. This performance pulled a lot of crowd and many people liked it.
