Nigerian actress and model Chiagoziem Nwakanma was born in December 1990 in Abia State, Nigeria. She has starred in TV series like This is it and Life 101 on EbonyLife TV. She has officially changed her name to Chy Leona
At the age of 15, she began working with local photographers to start her modeling career. From there, she attracted the interest of other photographers and grew popular in the modelling industry, Besides modeling, Chiagoziem is also involved with acting, attends the University of Illinois-Chicago while working on her BFA degree in performance.

While residing in Chicago, Chiagoziem worked with photographers like Graphic Xposure. She also plans to feature in Hollywood and eventually move more in the film direction. She equally worked with Black Noise Production’s “The Skin I’m In” and in a television series called “The In Crowd”.
Chiagoziem wrote her first web-series titled This Guy, which is about a young woman that experiences a series of unfortunate dates with men (also known as my life story).
