Precious Kofi is a South African actress best known for hosting her own TV show called Keeping It Real With Precious. She was born Nwabisa Precious Kofi on March 20, 1987 in Alice, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Her family moved to Mandela Park, Hout Bay, Cape Town from Alice and there she attended Korendal Primary School and then high school at Camps Bay High and graduated in 2005. While in high school, precious did Drama as a subject and was cast as a host in the TV show Hip 2B Square on SABC 2’s Tube. In 2006 she was given her own talk show Keeping It Real With Precious.

Her other TV appearances include guest roles in Without A Trace, Tsha Tsha and Zone 14. Precious was a host of SABC2’s Summer Games in 2006. She was also cast as one of the lead voice characters (Keitu) in the animated series URBO: The Adventures Of Pax Africa, which premiered in South Africa on 30 September 2006. She also starred as Mbali on Life is Wild. In 2007 she starred in the drama series Divers Down on SABC1. She began co-hosting the youth magazine programme EMS Volume 1 when it premiered on SABC1 on Tuesday 2 October, 2007.
She left South Africa to America to start a new life with her husband and kids and now works as a fitness coach. Precious changed her name and is now referred to as Precious Schamel.
