Zinhle Ngidi is a South African artiste born April 27, 1993 in Durban. Her passion for music began at a very young age of 10 as she usually sang in the school and church choir. She moved to Jozi with her mom and sister and there began her singing journey by entering competition after competition, without any success.

After several attempts, she got a call from Bhuti Sithole offering her representation. Her big break came with song Shumaya, a collaboration with Durban Nyts, which trended on Twitter and the airwaves.
As a young vocalist, Zinhle chooses to push her singles and lay a foundation for herself, working with two DJs who go by the alias Trademark releasing Shumaya, Mashonisa and Yekel Indoda Yami under the record label Sound African Recordings.
