Ishawna is a Dancehall artist who rose to fame after she was discovered and taken under the wing of Bounty Killer. She was born on September 29, 1986 in Kingston, Jamaica to a singer who has worked with legendary 80s producer King Jammy.
Her first song was written was she was just 6 years old and by the age of 8, she had recorded her first track. After her time with Bounty Killer, she then went on to join the label DownSound Records and released several popular singles.
