Alfred John Momar N’Diaye was born on 6 March 1990 in Paris, France. He is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays for Spanish club Villarreal CF and the Senegal national football team as a defensive midfielder.
N’Diaye began his career with US Vandœuvre in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy. At the age of 14, he moved across the arrondissement to join the biggest club in the region, AS Nancy. Upon arrival, Alfred endured early struggles, but quickly gained noticed following his second season at the academy. In 2006, he signed his first professional contract.
Aside US Nancy, Alfred has played for several clubs such as; Bursaspor, Sunderland, Eskişehirspor (loan), Betis, Villarreal, Hull City (loan), Wolverhampton Wanderers (loan).
Having played through the France national youth football teams, John decided to play for Senegal national football team and played his first senior international match in 2013.
