Gassama Bakary Papa is an international referee who hails from the Gambia in Africa. He was born on 10th February 1979. Papa was first promoted to become a FIFA Referee in 2007 and officiated his debut tournament as a FIFA referee in 2012 Olympic tournament.
Gassama was among the referees who officiated the 2012 world cup and 2018 world cup in Russia. Among other matches he has officiated includes 2012 Olympic tournament, in which he was the fourth official for the gold medal match between Mexico and Brazil.
