Ali Maâloul is a Tunisian professional footballer who plays for Egyptian club Al Ahly and the Tunisia national team as a defender. He was born on January 1, 1990, in Sfax,Tunisia.
In 2009, joined the team Tunisian club CS Sfaxien and started competing for his place in the starting lineup. His special skill of carrying fixed balls and register free kicks earned him his place on the team as he was noted as one of the pillars of his team. Since the 2014–15 season, Ali Maaloul has become the first captain of CS Sfaxien.
In the 2015–16 season, Ali Maaloul became the scorer of the league with 14 goals in the Round 20, a record that has not been matched by any defender in the history of the Tunisian league. In July 2016,
Maâloul joined the Egyptian club Al Ahly SC for a period of four years.

He joined the National team on 6 July 2013 making his international debut against Morocco. He played his first African Cup in 2015, and also participated in 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
In May 2018 he was named in Tunisia’s preliminary 29 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
