April Iman is a model and an entrepreneur who was born in Singapore to parents of mixed heritage. While growing up she moved from one city to another such as Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Paris, and Tokyo. She speaks a variety of languages which include English, Malay and Japanese.
Her first move began in the beauty pageantry world when she competed in Miss Universe Singapore at the age of 19. At the end of the competition, she was the first runner-up and at the same time, she was a student at Waseda University in Tokyo. She studied Mass Media and Mass Communication in university. April Iman later went into full modeling in Japan and has made appearances in billboards, TV commercials, magazines, and fitness modeling.

Apart from her career as a model, April Iman has also co-founded a distribution company, where she is the Managing Director. She has done entertainment reporting and has interviewed both Hollywood and Japanese celebrities at red carpet events
