Gerry Elsdon was born on 19 June 1971 and is the wife of businessman Kerry Elsdon. She is a South African television presenter, host, MC and businesswoman whose full name is Gerry Rantseli-Elsdon. She came to limelight in 2001 after co-hosting the first season of the reality television competition Big Brother South Africa.
Her career kicked off as a teenager during the liberation struggle and later worked for the African National Congress at National level. The woman with a good heart also has helped to a great extent in social projects which include as Aids Ambassador for the President’s Office. She didn’t stop there but has helped in the plight of those struggling with TB, HIV, and Aids.

She was the MC in Cape Town at the International Vaccination Conference in 2002, the event had many VIP’s in attendance such as former late president Nelson Mandela and the Chancellor of the University of Cape Town, Mrs. Graca Machel Mandela. Since 4 November 2007, She has worked as a presenter for the DStv channel ONE Gospel.
