Samuel Chukwueze was born on 22 May 1999 in Umuahia Abia state. He’s from southeast Nigeria and has a younger brother and sister. For his education, he attended Government College Umuahia and Evangel Secondary School. Heading over to his career, the young talent started playing football at the age of eight and was mentored by Hon. Victor Apugo.
In 2017, he joined Villarreal CF’s prolific youth setup from local side Diamond Football Academy. On 15 April 2018, he made his senior debut in the club after coming in from the reserve. The young energetic man won the Nigeria Football Federation’s 2018 Young Player of the Year award in April 2019.
