Fati Abubakar Biography – Age, Photography, Bits of Borno, Instagram

Fati Abubakar is a visual storyteller, She is one of Nigerian’ most popular photojournalist and documentary photographer. She was born and raised in Maiduguri, Borno State. Fati developed the passion for photography, which led to the creation of her series ‘Bits of Borno’.

Fati’ work has been published in The New York Times, CNN Africa, BBC and Voice of America.

Since September 2015, Abubakar has interviewed, as well as taken pictures of the residents with a mission to change the perception of Boko Haram brutality associated with Borno State.
