Soliat Bada is an international dancer and chef who’s part of the popular dance group ‘CEO Dancers’ that comprises of Ezinne Asinugo and Nqobilé Ntshangase. Here’s what she has to say concerning how her dancing career started;
It sounds cliché but I think I’ve always known that I was going to do dance, even when I was in Nigeria when I was really young. I was always putting on shows with my cousins, for family and for Christmas. When I took the step to do this professionally, it was when I was 16 and enrolled in a Dance Foundation course at West Thames College and that’s when I knew that, that was what I wanted to be. From there I met other dancers, I started going to classes outside of college and that was when the passion really started for me.

Among all the shows she has performed in, the most memorable shows was with D’banj. It was the Hackney Weekender in London with BBC One and it was absolutely amazing. The crowd was amazing, D’banj is always on 100%, but he gave it 150% that day and she and her group gave it 200%. Soliat is also gradually shifting interest in being a chef with her kitchen name called Nula’s Kitchen.
