Born August 24, 1982 in Mbaitoli, Imo State, Nigeria into a family of five children, Osita Iheme is a Nigerian actor known by fans as PawPaw due to his role in a movie titled Aki na Ukwa which he acted alongside Chinedu Ikedieze. In 2007 Osita received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the African Movie Academy Awards. He is considered to be one of Nigeria’s most famous actors. In 2011, he was honored as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
Osita attended Enugu State University where he studied Mass Communication. Like Khayelitsha his onscreen partner Chinedu Ikedieze, Osita has a small physique and the two are sometimes referred to as the midget duo.[4][5] Osita’s rare condition gave him the advantage of being different and unique from all other actors in the Nigerian movie industry. In 2003 Iheme rose to fame when he starred together with Chinedu Ikedieze in the comedy film Aki na Ukwa in which he played the role of ‘Pawpaw’. In this role, Osita played a mischievous child. He has played the role of a child in many of his films but later has adopted more mature roles.
